On December 20, 2018, the Power Plant Research Program (PPRP) made a motion to the PSC to dismiss Transource’s application. They found that PJM and Transource violated state rules that require utilities to consider existing alternatives before building new lines (see attached Motion).
Responses to the motion are due by January 7, and a decision should be pending sometime after that.
We are hopeful that the PSC will grant the motion and that this project will finally be over! Stay tuned!
